The Internet is gonna die!!!
![]()
I’ve noticed a lot of websites (hosted by several different hosts) down lately, for a few hours at a time. I’ve noticed e-mails taking hours to arrive.
I asked my friend JP about this today, and he said, “Maybe it’s the beginning of the end. Maybe it’s companies illegally instituting anti-net neutrality intentionally. When we’re sick enough of it, they’ll say, ‘Well, if you’re willing to pay more money each month, we’ll make it right for ya’.”
Yikes.

I think it’s due to the fact that more and more sites are being hosted by shady, bargain-basement hosts. Maybe I should just cut my connection now so I can say I was ahead of the wave on the end of Internets. Yeah, like I could really do that.

It’s not our imaginations, the Internet really is getting slower and it’s due to the telecoms companies outdated equipment. The Internet is run on early 90’s technology and was never designed to take the kind of load that it does today. Bring on Internet2!!
