nah, there is nothing really behind MLP, it started it off as a joke, the name grew to me, and the rest is history. though i could say it means mocking someones dirty hand writing with extras. i dont know. its whatever you want it to be.

My wife’s reading the Bill Bryson book about Australia “In a Sunburned land” now. I think that lead us to think there’s dirty slang for everything there.
You read it? I highly recommend any Bryson.

i am not really that australian myself. i mean i was born there, but i was raised in germany most of my life. and now i live back here in aussie land.
no i have never heard of him, bryson, any good? one of the only australian authors i know is John Birnigham, and he wrote, “He died with a Felafel in his hand”. good book and good movie. and dopeland.
been into the burroughs books latley.
