I thought about asking them to remove it, but thought about it for about an hour, and decided “fuck it”. I’m sick of being schizophrenic. I’m ThornDaddy. I do this podcast, and I love it. played bass. I clicked on the link kinda thinking “whatever” (I have a lot
of friends in bands, and most of them aren’t very good). But the sweet,
sinister beauty that poured out of my speakers overwhelmed me. His
music was stellar. It was as heavy as Led Zeppelin, but with the energy of
punk, and his voice…He is a great singer, but not like anyone I’d ever
heard. Sort of like an angel being run over by a truck. I was hooked.

I used to have a lot of guilt that basically worked out to “what if mother finds out?” which was about EVERYTHING, and not really just mother…it covered any authority figure: mother, dad, principal, cops, etc.
But fuck it. My mother’s dead, my dad has no power over me, my grade school principal is dead, cops can’t touch me because I don’t break the law, etc.
You know I wrote four FBI offices, the CIA and the state department last week and requested my files under Freedom of Information Act? If I had anything to hide that was worth worrying about, I would not have done that. Those are the biggest “authority figures” in existence in this country.
I’m middle aged and don’t need to hide from anything any more.
