removed the sign and hid the gun. Thanks.

Not too worried about broadcasting my choices on the internet. It's pretty hard to figure out where I live, and my neighbors don't pose any threat and probably don't even know my name. I pretty much blend in, and don't talk to anyone.

I live a 40-minute drive from Compton, and cars are easy to come by. Even easier to steal than a gun. People occasionally come out to the burbs from the hood to commit crimes. More and more lately, judging from the crime stats in this town.

I see no reason not to have loaded guns around....an unloaded gun is not a gun. And if you need it in a quick home defense situation, there may not be time to load it.

Me and the wife have no kids, no roommates, no one else has keys or access to our house. We're sane, sober, calm, are not angry people, never argue, not suicidal, and practice all the rules of gun safety (Including checking to make sure it's not loaded when handed to us, even if we know it's unloaded, and never point it at anyone, even if it's empty.) Why wouldn't we want to have loaded guns in the house?

what if someone did in fact break into your house again and you have loaded guns lying around with signs saying"loaded"next to them?

nor do i understand the idea of broadcasting your choices and impliments of home defense in such a public manner
to some degree you have lost one of the most crucial elements-that of suprise

also having loaded guns around is never a good idea unless you deal drugs and live in compton.watts, englewood or the projects and or a war zone such as iraq or afghanastan
