Democrats trying to outlaw organic farming

It’s gotten very little news coverage (except on hippie organic farming sites and far-right freedom sites, interestingly…the rare occasion both types have reported the same story).
Is going up to a vote in congress in a week and a half. Would effectively outlaw organic farming, even for personal use.
I find this pretty terrifying. That video looks like something from a Brave New World-type cyberpunk anti-utopia fictional movie that would take place in the not-too-distant future, rather than now.
Tell two friends about this (at least).
Especially hippie friends who voted for Obama.

Obama has appointed a sec of agriculture who has ties to seed companies….And I was worried when Obama put a guy who didn’t pay his taxes in charge of the economy…… lol…
I saw all of this coming before the election….when everyone was rallying about what a godsend Obama would be. I didn’t think he would be. (I didn’t foresee this bill specifically, but a year ago I saw Obama as a guy who would be in over his head, and has odd agendas to boot). Remember when folks sent out that YouTube video to help elect Obama…and insisted that it was important to “forward it to everyone you know”? Remember I said I wasn’t going to forward it?
Obama is changing the structure of the USA very quickly, without anyone reading bills, without media coverage of what’s going on.
He is very smart, probably smartest US president ever, but also very cocky…. he thinks he knows what’s best for everyone whether they like it or not. AND he’s spent more money in two months than the US Gov has spent total since 1776 !
Not that Republicans would have been THAT much better….big gov comes from both sides these days, and we’re kept in the dark. It’s all coming from the United Nations, in my opinion….One World government is not going to be a good thing. That’s why I vote Libertarian. Not that we probably have a chance. There is ONE libertarian congressman (Ron Paul) and he has to run as a Republican to get elected!
Did you see Obama on TV in Prague giving a speech to the Czech people? Obama was absolutely treating them like they were “his” citizens. It could have been a town hall meeting in Ohio…..

Though my worry isn’t the “intent” of a bill, but what vague wording could later do. History has proved this a valid fear.
Democrats are also trying to outlaw black cars in California because they reflect more sun and “add to global climate change.”

Our job is to have a good life no matter what “they” do.
Whoever THEY may be at any particular moment—-the in-laws, the co-workers, the crowd, the Church, the State, whoever the fuck.
No particular “ism” is any better than any other—capitalism, socialism, communism, libertarianism, whatever-the-fuck-ism. They’re all BS (that is to say, “belief systems”) from which we can cherry pick the good parts and discard the bad parts when forming our own particular BS, which we then live by.
It’s more or less always been like this. How to fly below the radar while everything else turns to shit around you? Well, you just kinda DO IT, that’s how.

Nothing from Prison Planet is remotely true. Alex Jones hocks non-hybrid seeds, hence his lie that such seeds will soon be illegal and unobtainable, so buy up quick!
Nothing on any commercial or religious broadcast Network in the United States is true. It’s all disinformation, scaremongering, and sensationalism.
Alex Jones is one more brick in commercial media’s divide and conquer routine–get conservatives thinking that liberals are their mortal enemies who cannot be compromised with no matter what, and vice versa, so they both fail to realize that the same corporations own and control the politicians who claim to be on either side of that spectrum.
If you want news, go through a grass-roots non-commercial network like Pacifica, or stick to warily reading what’s left of newspapers (lots of liars there, too, though).

Yes, but true libertarianism is unique in that it is a “non” ism. It’s not on the chart with the other isms. It’s rejecting the other isms, sidestepping them completely.
