Now that Team Obama has made over-the-counter abortion pills available to 17-year-olds (which I’m all for, it’s probably the only thing his administration has done right), conservatives are upset.

Here’s my thought…if the war between left and right keeps being a war, which it will, the only way the fiscal conservatives are going to survive is to become more libertarian, and absorb the smarter liberals into the Libertarian Party. (Or else the Republican Party is going to have to get a whole lot more libertarian.)

And if you’re going to look at it as a war, from a purely mercenary position, conservatives should be totally in favor of birth control and abortion. Because statistically, liberals use both more, and that means less liberals. What would you prefer? People having control over their bodies, or welfare babies growing up and voting against your party????
