Even more ready to leave for Wyoming
Just a few more days until we leave. We’re mostly packed.
Here’s packed boxes and not-yet-packed cats in our livingroom:
I would LOVE to ride out of town blasting loud music and flipping the bird as I do it, with a banner that reads “SCREW Y’ALL, AND ENJOY YOUR FAILED SOCIAL EXPERIMENT” across the back of the bobtail truck.
But I think we’ll try to slip under the radar. We’re driving a big truck, towing a car, and driving through 4th of July weekend/Michael Jackson funeral traffic, on a day that might include riots and martial law, if the Gov. makes good on his threats to mail out IOUs to welfare recipients.
I’ll sigh relief when we pass into Utah, and kiss the ground when we hit Wyoming.
Here’s pix of the 2200 sq. ft. house we’re renting (and maybe buying) in Wyoming:

Looks like a nice little place.
Hope the move goes well! That’s quite a long haul.

I am now very curious as to what the price range for a rental like that would be out there. I looked at something very similar in St Louis and they were asking almost $1600 a month. I was gobsmacked…..

Love the new house, very cute. No adjoining neighbors walls either, that is a good thing. The finished basement should be a good place for the new studio.
Safe trip, and have fun,
Debbie
